Dr Vibhor Saxena

Dr Vibhor Saxena joined the School of Economics and Finance at St Andrews as an Associate Lecture in 2015. He was promoted to Lecturer with tenure in 2021.

Vibhor completed his PhD in Economics in the Scottish Graduate Program in Economics, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh (2020) and MSc in Economics from the SGPE, University of Edinburgh (2009). At St Andrews he is an affiliated researcher of the Centre for Energy Ethics.

His research focus is in development economics with interests in energy, health, education, and labour. 

At St Andrews, Dr Saxena has taught EC2203 Statistics for Economist, EC4432 Development and Finance, EC4419 Development Economics, EC3301 Econometrics, and EC4510 Economic Policy as well as Development Economics in the Scottish Graduate Program in Economics
