19-20 April 2022
Crieff Hydro Hotel, Crieff, Scotland
Submissions are invited for the inaugural Scotland and Northern England Workshop in Applied Microeconomics, to be held at the beautiful Crieff Hydro Hotel on 19-20 April 2022. Papers are welcome in all areas of applied microeconomics, including labour, development, health, public finance, education, environmental, and economic history. Participants should be affiliated with a Scottish or northern English university. Submissions from early-career researchers are particularly encouraged.
Professor Lindsey Macmillan (University College London and Director of Centre for Education Policy and Equalising Opportunities) will deliver the keynote address.
The conference will run from 11 am on 19 April to 1 pm on 20 April and include lunches on both days and dinner on 19 April as well as accommodation.
A generous subsidy from the Applied Microeconomics Group at the University of St Andrews limits the conference fee to £125 per participant, including meals and accommodation (single occupancy).
The submission deadline is 15 December 2021 at 23:59. Extended abstracts (1-2 pages) or full papers will be considered. To submit an abstract or paper, please visit the paper submission page.
The programme will be decided and submitters informed by 5 January 2022.
