Kairat Umargaliyev
Kairat Umargaliyev is currently a PhD candidate in the School of Economics and Finance, University of St Andrews, working under the supervision of Professor David A. Jaeger and Dr. David Escamilla-Guerrero. He holds a Master in Public Policy awarded by the KDI School of Public Policy and Management and a MA in Economics awarded by Central European University.
Kairat’s PhD research is focused on investigating mechanisms through which ancient ancestral migration patterns affect economic preferences.
